Our first ever imperial stout, named after a beer brewed by the legendary Bev Robins, who in the 80s installed the tower brewery in The Hand in Hand; one pint of it was said to leave you "Staggering In The Dark". This beer also gives a nod to the candlelit evening of music and poetry held annually at The Hand in Hand. Intense and deeply roasty, with flavours of bitter cocoa, fragrant espresso and vanilla, and sticky chocolate cake and dates. This beer is silky smooth, but rich and layered with warming flavours.
